The following is an outline of the regulations related to promotions created by Peoples State Bank of Newton, IL, hereby referred to as PSB in this document. As a general rule, the PSB employees and their immediate family members (those living in the same home as employees) are exempt from winning prizes. Peoples State Bank is the sole sponsor of this campaign.
Official Rules
Promotions are open to all US residents age 18 or older at the time of entry unless otherwise specified. Promotions that are open to those 17 years or younger will require consent from a legal guardian or parent.
No Purchase Necessary
This campaign is open to customers and non-customers of Peoples State Bank. If not a customer of PSB, or if you have met specific requirements prior to this campaign, please bring a postcard with your name, address and phone number to your local PSB branch. You will be included in the campaign with the same chance to win. Purchase or opt-in does not increase your chance of winning. Void where prohibited.
Entry and Odds of Winning
Entries may be received online, where applicable, or in person at any of our locations. The entry must fulfill all campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of PSB. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of PSB.
Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries in this campaign. All entries must be received as determined before promotion begins to be eligible. A winner will be randomly selected from all participants and will be notified via phone, email or social media on or before a specified date within the promotion window. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, a new winner will be selected. Winner’s name and likeness may be used in materials to promote the results of the sweepstakes.
Agreement to Rules
By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements and agree to accept the decisions of PSB as final and binding as they relate to the content of the campaign.
Prizes
The winner(s) of the campaign will receive prizes as determined at the time of each promotion. Actual/appraised value may differ at the time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by PSB. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at PSB’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including but not limited to federal, state and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for PSB to use the winner’s name, likeness and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Terms and Conditions
Peoples State Bank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other cause beyond PSB’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the campaign. In such case, PSB may select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by PSB. The bank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the campaign, to void votes for any reason, including but not limited to, multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempts by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation f criminal and civil laws. Should such attempts be made, PSB reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitations of Liability
By entering, each contestant agrees to release and hold harmless PSB and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical software, or other mechanical equipment;; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the campaign; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the campaign or the processing of entries.

To obtain a copy of the winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to: PO Box 328, Newton IL 62448. Requests must be received no later than one week after promotion ends.
