Samantha Baker was recently named Assistant Vice President and Residential Lender at the Sumner branch of the Peoples State Bank of Newton. She has been in banking for a total of six years, four of those with Peoples State Bank.

“I’m excited to build strong customer relationships that help serve the community with all their residential needs,” she said.

Before becoming a lender, Samantha was a Teller, Customer Service Representative, Loan Operations and Loan Processor at the bank. She looks forward to meeting new customers within her role as Residential Lender.

“Samantha has been a great addition to our residential lending team,” said Brett Lessley, Executive Vice President at Peoples State Bank. “She is a team player, very conscientious, and customers enjoy working with her. I’m very pleased that she is advancing her career with PSB.”

Samantha lives with her husband, Brand, in the Flat Rock area. They have two children, Mailey who is 13 and Easton who is 10. When she is not working, Samantha enjoys camping, gardening, working out and spending time with family and friends. Peoples State Bank, the Board of Directors and all the staff would like to congratulate Samantha on her new position.
