In December, Theresa Zuber celebrated her 35^th anniversary with The Peoples State Bank. Theresa is currently the Compliance Officer and a Vice President at the bank. She began her banking career at Peoples State Bank as a teller before moving into roles as an Assistant Teller Supervisor, Teller Supervisor and Assistant Vice President.

“Compliance is quite a challenge: keeping up with the government requirements, banking regulations and keeping our examiners happy. I enjoy the challenge,” Theresa said when asked about the positives of her position. “I also get the opportunity to help train our staff on changes. In addition to my Compliance duties, I field various questions from our staff on unusual situations, so every day is a new adventure.”

Theresa and her husband, Greg, who have been married 39 years, reside in Sainte Marie. They have three grown children: Andy and his wife, Kelli, who live in Indianapolis with Theresa’s three grandchildren: Riley, Cohen and Emery. Their son Luke and his wife, Kim, who live in Newton, and their daughter Sarah Frey and her husband, Ed, who live in Sainte Marie. Theresa and Greg attend Scott Avenue Christian Church, where Theresa plays guitar and sings with the Praise Band. She is also an avid crafter, loves playing cards and board games, and spending time with her family.
