Q:

I don't see Mobile Wallet available for my phone, even though it is one of the models listed at the link above.

A:

It's possible that your phone is not using the latest operating system. To check, go to Settings and check if an update is available. You may need to download the update if you are not using the latest software available.

Q:

What cards can I use with the Peoples State Bank Mobile Wallet?

A:

You can use your Peoples State Bank Visa debit card and your Peoples State Bank HSA debit card. In fact, any of your consumer and business cards can be added to our Mobile Wallet. There's no reason to carry all your cards - keep them securely on your device and use the card you want when you want it.

Q:

How do I know which card I'm using?

A:

When you enroll multiple cards in your Mobile Wallet, you can select a default card as your primary use card. Additional cards can be labeled for quick and easy identification.

Q:

Is the Mobile Wallet only used for purchases made in-stores?

A:

No! Your Mobile Wallet is great for in-store purchases, and also comes in handy for in-app and online purchases. See all the different places and ways to shop using your Mobile Wallet at these links:

Q:

Can merchants see my debit or credit card numbers?

A:

No; your card numbers are NOT stored in your Mobile Wallet! Instead, card numbers are replaced with a token or code for data security, known as tokenization. Merchants and their staff will not see your debit or credit card numbers.

Q:

What is tokenization?

A:

Tokenization replaces the debit card's 16-digit primary account number, or PAN, with a unique alternate card number, called a token. Tokens vary in length from 13 to 19 digits. They look and act just like real PANs and reduce the risk of your card number being compromised

Q:

What if my debit card is lost or stolen?

A:

If your physical debit card is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately by calling your local branch or (800) 669-0341. We will cancer your card and order a new one. When you receive your new card, you can enroll it in your Mobile Wallet and continue enjoying secure, convenient shopping.

Q:

What if my mobile device is lost or stolen?

A:

Immediately notify us by calling your local branch or (800) 669-0341. We will disable your Peoples State Bank debit card within your Mobile Wallet. Remember, your token is different than your card number,so your physical debit card will still be safe to use. You will also need to notify your phone carrier about your lost phone.

Q:

Do Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay work outside the United States?

A:

Yes, your Mobile Wallet will work at all participating merchants, even those in other counties. Keep in mind that standard currency exchange rates apply.
