The chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, Rep. Glenn "GT" Thompson, plans to bring a farm bill to his committee for a vote before the end of May. Thompson's bill would make moves with both IRA conservation dollars and the long-term growth of nutrition spending that likely will be opposed by Democrats.
