Jasper County Dumpster Schedule

The 2008 Jasper County Solid Waste prgram will start April 5th, 2008.   The eight-month program will operate through November 2008.

The Newton site will be open three Saturdays a month.   The Newton site hours are 7:00 Am - 3:30 PM.

All other sites will be open once a month starting at 7:30 AM.   If a Dumpster is filled before 10:30 AM, another dumpster will be brought to the site.   These sites will be open until 12:00 (noon) or when the dumpster is filled after 10:30 AM.

Appliances are being accepted at the Newton site ONLY!   The appliances are to be placed in the dumpster reserved for applicances ONLY!   The appliances collected are recycled and are to be placed in a dumpster reserved for appliances only.   Either the compressor must be removed or the freon line opened to show freon has been properly removed from refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, etc.   No other site will accept appliances.

One dumpster at the Newton site is reserved for metal only.   Metal collected is recycled.   There is also a drop-off recycle container accepting aluminum cans, clear glass bottles, tin cans, plastic jugs, and plastic soda bottles at the Newton site.

No yard waste (grass, leaves, limps), tires or asbestos material wil be accepted at the dumpsters.
